Who I Am & What I Do

Thank you for stopping by! I hope you will make yourself at home on my Health and Detox site.

In a snapshot: My name is Ana Zaharia, and I am a certified Holistic Health and Rose Program Detox Counselor, as well as Detox Chef. My blog is the home for my love of proper nutrition and vibrant living. I have been a full-time student with little free time and have found ways to eat right with minimal effort, and want to help others do the same. I am now living a happier, more liberated life, as a result of cleansing.

I received my training from Integrative Institute of Nutrition, as well as brilliant CN, Natalia Rose. I was blessed to find Natalia’s books at a time in my life where everything was spinning out of control. I had been fighting with my body ever since I could remember, and it was fighting me. I grew up getting sick every chance I got, including every family vacation. UTI’s were looming around the corner, so much so that every few months when I would get one it would throw me into a deep state of depression. I also flirted with eating disorders from a very young age, desperate to feel better about myself. No matter how little I ate, I never looked or felt the way I thought I wanted to. I was always searching for health and vitality. After many years of trying to adhere to the mainstream concept of “healthy eating” and exercising as a job, then going all raw and failing, everything started to heal and fall into place thanks to Natalia’s work.

While I am well-informed on different dietary theories, and honor each individual’s lifestyle and necessities, I also know that as humans, we were meant to thrive with natural foods, in natural environments, under natural circumstances. My intention is to make health and happiness accessible to anyone that is open to it, through true cleansing.

It is not about dieting or loosing weight, but at the most basic level it’s about living in harmony with Nature. In order to do so, we have to get back to eating natural food, that our bodies can recognize as such, and use it to heal and nourish its every cell. Most “food” that is commercially available today for “safe” consumption is far from being nutritious or safe. It is responsible for, or seriously contributing to, most of the common serious conditions such as cancer, diabetes, heart disease, depression, chronic illness… Unfortunately the list goes on. The good news is that there are simple ways to improve your state of being, all the way down to your gut reactions, and have them be delicious!

Most people instinctively know how, and want, to eat better, but get too overwhelmed when it comes to implementing their knowledge. My hope is that you will use my website in any way you see fit; whether it is just finding something healthy and yummy to make once in a while or using it as a kick-starter guide to a new long-term way of treating your body that will improve every aspect of your being. It is important to remember that your body is a whole and functions as such.. if you would like to be less moody, or think more clearly, clean food and proper cleansing can directly improve that! I have combined health tips and recipes in my posts so that you can see how the tips can easily be implemented.

The only way to truly understand the importance, is by trying it out yourself, and noticing the difference!
